Chicago Bulls - the best sports team of the 90s
With six championships, a 72-10 win-loss records, and arguably the best basketball player to have ever lived, the Chicago Bulls of the 90s is certainly an icon of sports in the 90s.
His hanging tongue, his clutch shooting and buzzer beaters, his defensive arsenal, his backboard-breaking dunks... these made Michael Jordan unstoppable.

We also got some preview pictures via rottentomatoes with Selena riding the batpod and some more pics with a stunt double actually giving it a spin along with that cool looking eye gadget and that sexy suit!
We also get a preview of Bane and batman going at it. We see Bane with his signature mask on with what could be a venom distribution device in Nolan world. I have to say I'm really excited to see this film although we still have about a full year before it hits theaters.
Nolan with his Imax camera |
Lastly, Nolan gets all Imax loving again which we have to admit takes Imax movies to the next level. He shot some scenes in Dark Knight using a custom made rig for the cameramen so they can carry and move around with the iMax camera. It's a huge camera and this has never been done before. Another thing for the fan boys to rave about.

Our obsession has been heard!
We are excited to finally be able to say that: NICK GOES 90's!
(starting July 25, 2011 on TeenNick)
Nickelodeon grants us 90's kids our ultimate wish with "The 90's are All That" bringing back all our favorite cartoons and sitcoms of our youth. Back when grunge was in and baggy was the way to go. Back when everybody looooved Orange Soda and Clarissa explained it all for us.
According to Mashable, the shows that are going to go on rotation are the following:
- Aaahh!!! Real Monsters
- The Adventures of Pete & Pete
- All That
- The Amanda Show
- Are You Afraid of the Dark?
- Catdog
- Clarissa Explains it All
- Double Dare
- Doug
- Hey Arnold!
- Kenan & Kel
- Legends of the Hidden Temple
- Nickelodeon GUTS
- The Ren & Stimpy Show
- Rocket Power
- Rocko’s Modern Life
- Rugrats
- Salute Your Shorts
- The Secret World Of Alex Mack
So Generation Y, be proud, the copious amounts of social networking hours you dwindle, demanding for these shows instead of doing your homework, has brought forth this epic Nostalgiattack!
(p.s. for those who don't have TeenNick: http://tvpc.tv/Channel.php?ChannelID=3115 you're welcome haha)
Emulators Everyday!
Ever get the urge to play Crash Bandicoot at 2am after great night out with friends? Well, I did. And that's what spurred my hunt of the best Playstation 1 emulator for all my nostalgic musings. For those out there who aren't familiar with Emulators, to put it simply, they are computer programs that emulate or mirror the workings of the game console that you wish to play. Before you get too excited, i must note though that Mac users won't be able to use the Playstation emulator, but may choose from an assortment of Gameboy, NES, SNES and Arcade ones.
and thus begun my late nights with Crash. It was quite difficult to play on a regular keyboard, seeing as how i lack in the dexterity needed to perform such moves as the sliding jump with my left hand so i went out and got myself one of those cheap dual shock controller plug-and-play knock offs for P200 at my local computer shop and the rest is history.
Since then, i've downloaded a number of games such as Pepsi Man, Bust A Move 2 and Tekken 3 and the 7 year old kid in me was very pleased.
(Not to mention the hundreds of NES and Gameboy games I have on my laptop as well, for those excruciatingly long breaks in school.)
Disclaimer: I do not advocate piracy in anyway, and these are all just suggestions merely for entertainment purposes only.
- I went to the CoolRom website
- Installed the ePSXe emulator on my Windows desktop (One might need some assistance here)
- Downloaded Crash Bandicoot 3

(Compatible with most operating systems, USB peripheral)
(or you can also opt to buy this Playstation controller to USB cable if you have controllers lying around)
(this is a neat controller you can get off of Amazon for playing NES games)

Dexter's Laboratory
One of my fondest memories growing up was watching Dexter’s Lab! It was really one of those shows I never really got tired of, especially the first couple of seasons. One of my favorite episodes has got to be LABretto from I think season 2, if Wikipedia does not serve me wrong. One of my fondest memories about that episode specifically was actually reenacting some of those songs together with my older sister. I’ve gotta say we were such cuties singing those songs!
Looking at it now, I see Dexter’s Lab to be one of those timeless classics; I would be surprised if I met anyone who wouldn’t get at least a bit excited at the mention of Dexter’s Lab. I for one would get incredibly excited at the mention of this show! I really would religiously watch this every day before, it would play as I was getting ready for school early in the morning, it was practically part of my routine at some point. I even remember having an awesome toy of Dexter, he had his own mech and everything, I actually fell kinda bad for giving it away, I honestly really loved that toy (as childish as that may sound).
To its credit also; I think it’s the first cartoon I ever watched which had its own movie, or at least a cartoon I was s eager to watch. I still remember being given a VCD of it when I was young, and wanting to watch immediately, being the impatient kid that I was. Ego Trip, I still remember that’s what it was cool. I still remember thinking to myself these exact words, “This is so awesome!” Although I was at that age in my life that everything thrown in front of me was “awesome”, but the Dexter’s Lab movie was a special exception, I really meant what I said. Years after getting that VCD, I know there was a time I really kept searching my house for that VCD just watch it again. Thinking about it now, I think I’m gonna go download it right now to watch it again!
